WHO WE ARE…

A fun packed boating lake in the heart of Mersea island...

Mersea Boating Lake is a 6 acre man made salt water lake, situated in the beautiful countryside of East Mersea, located by the sea with its own private beach access.

We are a family friendly lake, offering water sports activities for all ages and abilities. In our fun but safe environment you can try paddle boarding for the very first time or maybe sharpen your skills sailing across the lake.

With the lake only being 1.5m deep and no current, or tide it gives you the confidence on the water and access all day every day. Your safety is important to us, no one can use the lake without a buoyancy aid.

WHAT'S ON OFFER...

We offer Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Canoeing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Rowing Boats, Aqua Park, Dinghies and model boats. We rent out equipment but also give you the opportunity to use the lake with your own equipment. New for 2022 SUP lessons!

We also run open Water Swimming sessions and lessons, Family fun swimming sessions, dog walks and doggy swimming sessions, nature walks and private beach parking and access.
