A school trip like no other – Water sports fun for all!

Would you like to bring your students for a day out they will talk about for years to come and provide lots of fun and laughter for all?

Then Mersea Boating Lake is the place to be!

What we can offer here at Mersea Boating Lake for your school as an AALA credited facility, British Canoeing Delivery Partner and RLSS Open Water Lifeguard trained centre.

We are aware over the last few years things haven been very different for schools, the positive from this is lots more activities have been happening in the great outdoors.

We believe we have a great facility to offer your students an exciting, educational, rewarding and fun filled day out. We are and enclosed flat water lake which is only 1.5m deep, we have private parking and can offer hot and cold food options.

We can offer small group single sessions or a full day out of activities and food.

The choice is yours you can tailor the package to suit your budget and needs.

All of our sessions are led and supervised by fully qualified instructors and overseen by the Lake manager.

All equipment is provided along with wet suits and buoyancy aids, you can choose from the following activities:

• Swimming
• Paddle boarding
• Kayaking
• Inflatable aqua Park
• Pond dipping
• Treasure hunting

We can offer rewards trips, end of year celebrations, or regular sessions.

Food

Hot & Cold Lunch options at £7 per child.

We offer a range of hot and cold food options as listed below, we can cater for dietary needs but please message us directly to discuss this if not listed, this includes gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.

All of our food packages are nut free but we do have nuts on site in our café so please inform of us of any nut or other allergies upon booking.

Cold boxes are served with choice of sandwich, a piece of fruit, bag of crisps, snack bar and a drink.

Sandwiches are served on white bread and there is a choice of cheese, ham, jam or a salad pot.

Hot food boxes have the choice of:

• Burger
• Cheese burger
• GF sausage
• Veggie burger.

All hot food boxes are served with a bag of crisps and a snack bar and drink.

Drink options are:

• Can of fizzy
• Bottle of water
• Fresh juice box
• Hot drink for teachers only.

Extras:

• Ice lolly’s £1
• Hot chocolates £1
• Sweet bags £1

Price

School groups are a minimum booking of 10 children

1 activity = £10 per child

2 activities  = £15 per child

3 activities = £18 per child

4 activities =  £23 per child

Staff price 1 staff member free to every 10 children (excluding food)

Extra staff taking part are charged at £10 for the day.
